I was thinking the same thing

I wonder what would happen if you searched for threads started by super6turbo4 or about front diffs.....

In all honesty, just search it and read through the thread and you will understand that this happens when you have the wheel cranked and you are in the dirt and you use a little too much throttle. I still suggest that you search thou. This way you get the whole story and not just a quick summary that leave out a lot of stuff.

I gave you the short answer but to fully understand what the whole scenero was, you should read the thread. I understand that asking the question is the easy thing but if you are really serious about it and possibly wanting to do this mod, doing your own research and gathering the information will teach you a lot. We can tell you to do whatever and if we all keep our stories straight, how would you know if we were lying?

Side Note: I joined CF almost a year ago. I never posted for ~6 months. I took that time to read the threads and gather whatever information that I needed. This is how I know about the different Frontier (CF, FB, ~FS) mods and also Xterra (thenewx.org) and Titan (clubtitan.org). If you are really looking to mod your Frontier, it is up to you to make the final decision that it is what you want and not what others told you to do.

I've been trying to find an internet source to purchase the m205 and the pathy half shafts with no success. Anyone got it?

The front diff. can be found used. You are looking for a Titan that is automatic with the big tow package. That will have the same gears as your truck.

You might have to get the pathy half shafts new since you will need the ones out of a V8 Pathfinder.

Thanks Mike! I read on a Titan forum that there is a redesigned m205. Do you know anything about that or what year that redesigned one is?

[edit] I went to the car-part.com website. I didn't see "front differential housing" under "select part". What is the m205 under? Is it under "differential assembly"?
