Us 4wd guys still don't have gears for our front diffs, not to mention they aren't as strong as we like.

x2.............exactly my point. if you check past threads this was brought up several months ago talking about them coming out soon and still nothing....................................
and if they are making the same dana44 gears fit ill bet they are machined down gear sets/internals to fit. and how is that any stronger?????? not to mention-his quote was that these parts are already on the market. so if thats the case they must be machined down/modified parts to make work.........right? therefore they still take time to be made by company like mentioned above, and then made available to us...........thats awesome but im sure im not the only one who wants to know a lot more about how the parts are made and obviously see more offroad testing of the parts before putting them in our diff.............and i would hope there are fronts being made----cause ive heard no mention of that for the 4wds?

I have called every place near me and no one is willing to make gears. Hoopers, which was the only guy installing 3:73's w/ the trutrac said he won't do it anymore cause it's such a PIA. My truck works perfectly fine with the 3:54's and 35's but it sure would be nice to get a few MPG's back.

Whatever happened to this??? I have talked to a few guys (ones I was trying to get to make me gears) that have raced with team xterra and said they have had nothing but problems with the rear and haven't finished a race due to blown diffs? Is there any truth to that? Unless there is another X that races in the desert...

I not sure what heppen first but in the first year they blew the locker in the rear. They have been running a welded rear end since. They blew the front diff. and have been running 2WD since.

They have problems with lower controls.

Oh and last race they came in 2nd place

Headed to Vegas for another Team Xterra Racing race...

Based on this calculator from Superior gears you would be ok with 5.29 Gears

Superior Axle and Gear

Hello Everyone,

I got in touch with Gilbert in Sales at gilbert@superioraxle.com

He has advised that Superior are still in research and development for these gear sets...........

He believes it could be another 6 months away but Superior are definiteley aware that we the Nissan Navara/Frontier owners want these different gear ratios...........
He advises to email him every 2 months to track progress..................So guys hit the guy up with emails every 2 months and let him know we are interested............

All the best, Ozroder
