Stillen differential cover and pics inside Nismo diff

Replaced my steel diff cover with the aluminum titan cover from Stillen. Also installed this using differential gasket from mag-hytec. Only hiccup was I had to rig up my own ebrake bracket since the frontier one is welded to the cover. Also took some pics inside the diff. Enjoy!

Looks very nice. I assume this one did not have a temp gauge or anything as an option? Also, the brake bracket, I assume you just bent a piece of Aluminum?

In the end, it looks great and is one more reason why I want to get an m226 instead of my c200.

thanks. no temp gauge option. i believe only the mag-hytec has the temp gauge port. For the bracket, luckily my wife shops at Ikea so we have a lot brackets lying around. here's a pic (not proud of it but it works)

LOL, IKEA, that is just awesome. Whatever works, as long as it works in the end, it is a good job.

LOL, IKEA, I just had to say it again, lol.

Looks awesome. How much was the kit, and how much fluid does she hold now?

Im assuming you got the Titan diff cover since you have the same rear end as the Titan. My question, I looked on the Stillen website and it had 2wheel drive Frontier only. I guess theres no difference in any 2wheel drive frontiers so that one should work for me. I just dont like how the price is a lot higher for the frontier than the titan.

You are correct, I used the titan cover since I have the m226. The install directions list both the titan and frontier for the titan cover. I'm not sure on the Frontier cover, but I would guess you are also correct that the more expensive cover is for the c200.

That is awesome! I do a lot of towing and hauling heavy loads with my truck so I am totally going to do this mod one day. Hopefully next spring before camping season begins.
