SAS question?

I have a question for all you doing SAS's? Would a Ford 9inch in the rear and Dana 44 (or 60) work in the front ? I am really tempted to do a custom SAS cuz my buddy can hook me up with a few parts that i would need. Thanks

Almost anything will work as long as it is strong enough, has the same track width and offers the same gearing. If it fits the above criteria, then you should be golden.

those axles would work....but remember...fabrication ain't that easy. do some reading up on the topic and give some thought to the width of those axles, what it takes to make those brakes work, steering, suspension, driveshaft angles, etc.

its a big project.

To the Ford 9in do`t go crazy looking for one cuz most stock 9 inch only have 28 spline axle shafts . I have heard the dana44 from the mid 70s were a neat sawp
