2 weekends from now we should be doing mudpunishers swap if all goes as planned! I just got a bunch more parts in so mines not far behind either! GOOD LUCK on getting that swap done really looking forward to seeing that axle on your truck.

I'm planning on an sas and 4wd conversion. I just got my new carrier in so i will have that installed in the axle soon with the new ring and pinion. I already have everything else to put the axle together just waiting to get the rand p set up. For the 4wd swap i'm using a divorced T-case (np205) out of a late 70's f-350. it has a nice front driveshaft drop so it will help with my pinion angle since i plan on running spring over. But since you already have the crawler gears in your t-case i would go with that. The swap for you is really straight forward. You will need a different crossmember, or you could make your own. The only wiring is extending the 2 wires on the speedsensor on the end of the tranny to the end of the transfer case. I'm not to sure about the linkage though. I do know that the plate on the bottom of the floor that the shifter mounts to can be removed and swapped for a 4wheel drive one ( i was looking at doing this before i decided to go with the non factory transfercase setup) the part should be pretty cheap at a dealer (it is just a piece of sheetmetal, or you can just cut yours up and bolt the new transfer case shifter to your current one.

not much going on with the steering... just the typical draglink from the pitman arm with high steer. then of course the tie rod. my tie rod is on the bottom, but the way dynatrac constructs the axles keeps it about center of the axle tube. the custom pinion angle and caster help keep it up and out of the rocks when flexing.

we did the upper and lower links today, and they were doing the shock hoops when i left last night. minor hiccups, but that is normal. should be rolling by the end of this weekend or possible saturday. the following week will be the actual conversion.

im running my american racing mojave teflon's with 35" xterrains.
we need to put the tranny/tcase in and do the rear. we are going to do a coil sprung rear, which should go super fast. we also need to to 5.13 gear swap as well as install the arb locker in the rear, but it will be rolling on 35's by sunday, im just going to have to go without 513's for a week. we are going to make a temporary drive shaft just to have to drive it. i will be taking it to a local custom drive shaft place in huntington beach so they can do the front and rear.
i still need to buy some smoothbody kings for the rear as well as a pair of king hydro bumpstops.

shocks are in. looks sick!
