Ouch... a little poke at the 2nd gens there?

Hey I'm with ya on this one. If you can afford it, then do it once and do it right. When you get out on the trail that peace of mind will be worth the extra cash you dropped on the axle.

Nice job, by the way. That thing looks friggin' amazing.

it is my daily driver, thats why i built it to be relyable and dependable to play on the rocks one day, and then drive me to work on the next day.
truck will be back up after next weekend. a friend from work is good friends with a guy who builds rear ends at a professional level and he is going to do my 513 and arb install. you can bet your assess there will be some flexy shots after that!

more pics
Here you can see all three links

Shaft extended out of tranny- probably near max

That ring is part of the destroyed grommet bearing that holds the driveshaft in the yoke

This is the other end of it, getting pulled through the yoke

The king tower!

Passenger side hoop. All we had to do was relocate the brake fluid thing

Drivers side is hard to see, but we didn’t have to move anything out of the way

Another passenger side shot. We also did a temporary strut going from hoop to hoop to minimize flex in the hoops

The upper link

Lower link

it was sort of late at night when we realized that we needed something going across the motor, so we ended up welding three peices of tubing together that we found in the garage. it looks like crap right now, but it gets the job done. so no im not going to post a pic of it. hahaha...

That's exactly what we are planning on doing!
Nice!! Thanks for the coilover pix, it answers a lot of my fabricator's questions.
Sweet rig, can't wait to see it on the trails.
