Locking Rear Diffs

I searched around, and couldn't find an exact answer to my question, so I apologize if this has already been discussed.

Are there any after market rear diff lockers out there that allow the LSD to remain when not engaged, or do all of the lockers force the rear diff to become open when not engaged?

Also, anyone throw any recommendations out there for rear lockers, both auto and manual (If there are both)?

I originally was planning to purchase a NISMO for th rear diff locker, but go figure there were none to be found within 2 states of Arizona. I had to go for the SE, which is essentially the same, without the locker, skids, and stickers.

Thanks.

There are currently no aftermarket lockers for the Frontier at all. ARB may be making an announcement very soon. But most beleive that it will be for the M226 Diff and not the C200, but only time will tell. We may soon get one for the front though.

ARB will be making a locker for the c200 I believe. The m226 has the e-locker and true trac option, so I can't see the market for a m226 locker

The locker from ARB that should be out in a few weeks is for the M226 diff.

ARB is an australian company and all Navara have the M226 diff.

Well, that may be wishful thinking. If you look at their website they seem to be planning of the M226

4 Floating thrust block(s) are included but should ONLY be installed on semi-floating axle assemblies. Refer to installation guide.
5 Available late 2008.

notice that it is the M226 that they list as Available late 2008 and there is no mention of the 05+ C200

I noticed 4wheelparts.com has some Dana 44 axles with the locking diffs but they are pretty expensive. I'd love to upgrade, but is it worth the $2500 to do so? Is the axle really that much better?

Now that we have clearify that the locker from ARB is for the M226.

Automotive Customizers is working on a locker but I don't know if it is for the M226 or the C200.

it's about time, I emailed ARB over 2 years ago about a locker for the M226 (some of you seem to be forgetting that Titans use the M226, there is PLENTY of market for it). They said then that it was on the list, they just did not know when.

Hopefully ARB is really going to cover the m226 and then AC is going to realize this and cover the c200. This would be the best for both worlds and they would not be competiting against eachother.
