i have not yet and am not going to till i know its an issue. still gotta get the exhaust done (this week) in order to install the front driveshaft and get a good flex. i figure flexing it out will answer several little questions i have such as the one you asked. we'll see!

edit...just went and was looking and taking some measurements for the fornt and rear driveshafts. got to get those modified this week or next week also. anyway...i don't think its going to be an issue for me. the pinion on the 14bolt is considerably longer than the stock axle. hoping thats one thing i won't have to mess with.

yep....that front end on had 18k miles on it and i got it all for $400! that was a great deal!

got the steering arm installed.
here is the old. way too tall and putting the drag link up really close to the oil pan.

new arm being installed. really was a piece of cake. had no idea what i would find under the king pin and it stil doesn't all make sense to me...but its done.
had to extend the drag link a little. probably about as far out on the TREs as i would want to go. got another stick of tube in the basement. might cut one longer and put in place to make sure all is as durable as it should be.
