$1200 to install the front gears quoted to me by Desert Rat , so lets say it take 8 hours
$150 an hour lol wow just sad

they obviously dont see many nissans and are afraid of what they might run into.

its an empty housing not even on the truck and the ring gear will already be put on , all they have to do is set the backlash etc and i told them ill put the rest of it together(outer seals shafts etc) , but yeah as soon as i said nissan he was like "nissan?"

Since it isn't even in the truck, why not tackle it yourself. It will be a lot easier to learn on one that is out of a truck then one that is in the truck. I am sure you can get the shims and I assume you already have the FSM so you know the specs.

Personally I vote that you take this on yourself with Nate takin pics along the way so that others can see what is really involved.

Side Note: What about getting the guys that were doing the ARB locker install that failed to help or was that the same shop?

Side Note: What about getting the guys that were doing the ARB locker install that failed to help or was that the same shop?
that was Steeevo over in cali , that was on syndicates rig i believe from the newX , but im talking to a guy i know that may be able to help , just thought it was ridiculous as soon as nissan comes up the prices goes up as well

FINALLY , everything is all geared up tested it out on the ramp and crawled pretty well taking the truck out sunday woohooo!!


thanks again to nizmut for hookup on the rear diff
