yes it will. Vehicles that use spring over axle are usually equipped with a high steer setup from the factory. Most of the axles we find (i.e. waggy axles) are setup to run sua.

I am sure whatever witch way you go you are going to love it much better then IFS :P
leafts done right can drive just fine on road, i had my 4 runner up to 100+ a couple times and it road pretty damn good for being on 42's. and around town it handled just fine. coilovers are better for sure. but i think you will be satisfied with leafs as long as you get it on right, and can get it aligned properly. getting that axle crooked thou will deff mess with you lol. and leafs can flex just fine, enough for what you want i think. fyi the pic i attached of the flex is on 38's. which i know is what you said you wanted to run. hope these pics help set you heart on what you want. good luck on the swap!

Mudpunisher unforunately i have run into some snags with my sas. Me and my wife are going to get her a new car so funds are a little short right now for my projects. I have a d44 drivers side drop axle out of an 84 waggy, no vac disconnects. I'll sell it for 250, which is what i paid for it. I have all the pieces except one hub (the hubs should be replaced with a set of warns or mile markers anyways) I even have the waggy springs, but i wouldn't recommend using them.

minor set back on my lcense today, i dont get it until thursday. im planning to head down to aggresive off road and see whats up there and what the can tell me. i know a guy with an old suburban that is considering selling it to me. only thing is its passenger side drop. but in the end i wanna put a 350 im rebuilding inm my truck, and most chevy are passenger side transfer cases. so im kind of stuck on what would be better. im thinking go drivers side now then worry about a new axle once my motor is done. im hoping once ive done the intial swap, switching just the axle shouldnt be too hard

ive been raised on chevys so if im not gonna have a stock driveline, its gonna be chevy. i like the axles cause i saw thet they had warn premium manual hubs on them already. im just not sure about which axles they are exactly, strengh isnt really a concern, its not like im putting 600hp in my truck, 300 tops(only 2-bolt main motor) i just want gear selection and a detroit locker. my dad had an old 240z back in the day and thats the only reason i was allowed to get the nissan, cause he beat the hell out of that car and it didnt have a single problem. he still talks about how good that car was to him

it's most likely a 10B front with a 12B rear... and i'd go with ARB or Ox before detroit but hey, it's your rig

i was going to sbc swap my fronty before i sold it. but the 4runner i posted has a chevy 350 in it. id say get that swap done first, or at the same time its deff nice to have some power under the hood to push those wheels instead of having to regear so much.
