Have you seen a what a 5 link coil setup can do. If you looking for lots of wheel travel you can't beat it.





It is a very long thread sorry, but I can't understand why leaf springs and not coils?

leafs are cheaper to do and you have less breaking points, leafs are easier and cheaper to lift, a well done leaf spring set up can flex just as much as almost anything

because i live in florida, the nearest rock is an hour drive. i eventually want to put 40 inch tires or bigger on it and with leafs thats not real hard to do

good leafs will do just as good as good coils. just coils have the potential for much more. leaf spring stop at that point. once the new motor is in it (not for a while) its going to riding on at least 40 inches of rubber. leafs are much easier to add too
