yeah, im staring to get real stoked! i did finally decide to only go to 36 inch tires for now. to run 40 like i wanted to i would need a 5.98 gear, which is pretty tall. only need 5.38 for the 36's. and a dana 44 will handle that just fine with this motor attached to it

Awesome. You may not need to do the chevy master cylinder swap with a 36 inch tire. I plan on using one piece ss line front and rear when i do my swap that should help a little with braking.

yes sir! i just got my ball joints and the drag and center link today. so now im gonna start working on the axles them selves. till its time to do the big stuff. leafs should be ordered tomorrow, if not next week for sure. oh yeah, if someones got pics of my truck flipped at uwharrie i wanna see a few of em!

Mud,

FYI, the axle tubes on Scout D44 axles are thinner than other D44 axle tubes (i.e. Ford, Chevy, etc), so keep an eye on them when you run the 36's on them (I had a 79 Scout II with 33's and tweaked my tubes). Don't know why but they are.

i aint too worried about it. eventually i wanna put dana 60s on and run hysteer on 40's so im thinking ill be good for a while. but thats for the info i was not aware of that
