2WD is the odd CV joint flange. But both being 2WD Nismo models that shouldn't matter. But if there is a change it can be harder then that, the pinion gear splines changed about the same time if I remember correctly. The '08 is a better axle, 4 spider gears, bigger axle shafts as well (I think). I would get it. Gear ratio will be the same, only 3.36 was offered in the 2WD Nismo package (back when the Nismo package was actually a good package in the 2WD with a real locker).
