I assume from this post that it has been confirmed that all C200s are the same whether it is from an XE, SE or and LE. Also, I assume Nissan did not throw in some kind of curve ball and cut down on the durability of the XE C200 because it is rated at 100 hp/tq less then the VQ40.

TO GIVE U A HEADS UP

After the unintentional early release of the 2nd gen Xterra locker and all the hype, today we came to the conclusion that the RD106 locker does NOT fit the 2nd Gen X’s

The reason this was an unintentional release is, another aftermarket parts retailer heard about ARB measuring the carrier that I had sent them, the results came back indicating that the RD106 Locker would fit, so they had listed is on their website before it was even tested. My response to their release was to also release the locker ahead of schedule since I was the one that had been working for the last 6 months with various people on this project, I felt that I should be part of the initial release.
My original intention was to get all the information I can on this locker, then do a test install, once the test install was complete and successful I was going to release all the info to the public, but this process was interrupted and now has sent me back to let everyone know that the carrier that I had sent to ARB was different than the one we pulled out of syndicates rig today. The carrier I send to ARB was supposed to be out of a ’05 Frontier but it now looks like it was a mis-marked axle.
I’m not giving up on this project, ARB has already been notified and they are willing to continue working with me to get a locker set-up for the 05+ X’ and fronty’s

So, the adventure continues and the next time you hear about this from me, it will hopefully be with good news and a full report on a successfully operating ARB Locked 2nd Gen X.
I apologize for the run-around but we’ll get to the bottom of this.
Thanks for everyone’s help and cooperation and support.

Steve

I cant imagine the frontier c200 being different than the x, when I (penski) sent them info i had they said it wasnt close to the rd106 so i was really surprised when they made the annoucement , sorry guys i know its a bummer, ill be working with Steve to try and get this figured out though

Not really since ARB screwed up and now have to design a new locker to fit the c200.

Once they do design a proper locker it should fit your c200 but if you decide to do an axle swap to an m226 or ford 9" or etc... it will not fit.
