I have a 2008 Frontier and in just the last 9 months I have started having problems when putting gas in the tank. If I try to just put the nozzle in and run it like I would on any other vehicle, the gas starts flowing back out of the gas tank and winds up on me, the truck and the ground. It takes so long to fill the tank because I have to run the gas in so slow and stop periodically just to give it time to go into the tank. Frustrating to say the least.
I saw some previous threads on this subject but I think they were back into 2009 or so. I don't believe I saw anything on if any of the solutions suggested had been tried and whether or not they were successful.
If there is anyone reading this that has any information to help, please post response and I will check back later.
The folks that I've asked have all had different answers and I'm not sure if I want to spend over a $1000.00 to fix this problem "permanently" as they said. I'd appreciate any help I can get. I'm really tired of looking at the check engine light. It makes me wonder if it's still the same problem or another one coming up. Thanks!
