WRP Technology Intake Manifold Spacer

It seems like a few people are interested in an Intake Manifold Spacer for the VQ40 setup -

I know you guys are aware of the pulley that I have made for you guys, but here is another example of a product I make for the Nissan Family -

By changing the intake manifold runner lengths we can shift the peak tq band to the left and create more bottom end power out of the engine. Since your motor doesn't have a high revving point (over 8k) this is will not hurt but also help your top end power -

Here is an example of what I made for the Sentra using the same pricinples, and as you can see, there is a massive gain at 3200 rpms holding all the way to 4500 rpms -

Are you guys interested in doing something similar? And if so, would you guys be willing to do the same thing as we did on the group buy on the pulley - if so, I would say pricing would be 200 and we would need something like 20 buyers -

If interested, please send your payment via paypal to sales@*************.com and indicate which forum you are from as well as your screen name - this way we can track the who, what, when, and where questions that may arise

William

Have you ever made a manifold spacer for an engine with variable length intake runners, like the VQ40 has? I just ask because I am not sure if the manifold spacer would have the same effect of this type of setup.

If you have, and can back it up with a dyno chart, I would be more inclined to get this, than I was the pulley. I definitely wouldn't mind my torque curve shifting down a bit, my tall tires made me loose a tad bit.

I'm a little confused about your question saying that there is variable intake runner lengths....

I am no so sure this is the case, is the diameter of the primaries different? - these pics show it being of the same size as I wouldn't believe the primaries are all different lengths, as that would cause eack cylinder to perform differently and since Nissan uses cylinder pressure as a factor in the timing scale, I can't see that happening -

im here to test it will! Im going to be down for this mod. Been talkin to ya about it. If the sentra can gain as much as it did. There is still a Possibility that we could. Regardless of us having variable intake that doesnt kick in till around 4k. Kind of worthless if you are scootin in town.

hmmmm... ok I just did a little google search, and apparently I just made that up. lol. I could have sworn we had some kind of chamber that was opened/closed based on rpm that would increase/decrease the intake runners' effective volume therefore changing the engine characteristics.
I must be on drugs.
