biggest rims on 98?

just bought a used 98 frontier its all stock and im wondering the biggest rim size that i can go is? im hopeing its around 18-20"

If you SAS, you could probably fit a 28" or 30" rim.

If not, maybe a 18 or 20, it all depends on what tires you go with.

18s pretty easily. 20s with rubber band tires. you can go bigger, just depends on how much you want to sacrifice.

also note you will want a high offset wheel to avoid fender contact. look for something with +25mm or more. +40 if you plan to bag later on.

I have the same truck, mines an 01, but I have 18" w/ 235/50s....the correct plus 3, so the speedo is dead on, and rides nice. I love it. See avatar. BTW, those are 2007/8 factory escalade wheels. 20"s would fit wasy, even lowered. I plan on dropping my nose more, and I use mine as a truck...so 18" was perfect for me. (And I have 2 other vehicles on 20"s....tires get expensive)
