the worst thing is, not that many people are voting. we need the right info.
if it turns out i do have this issue and they wont cover it because of modification. im taking this to my lawyer.

more people need to do this so we can get a more accurate reading on how many have this problem.

I voted that I did not have this problem, then developed it. grrr

I also think we should setup a poll or get feedback from people who have it done, then need it again...a 2nd time. I will freak out, because this is a ticking timebomb in these trucks, I just hope the fix is permanent, not just randomly go out. Suprised Nissan has not updated the nylon on top of the tensioner, this is costing Nissan millions of dollars every year in repairs.

I don't know if they will say that or not. I also don't see any way they can blame your mods on a known problem that develops on stock trucks to the point a TSB is issued.

2005 SE with 41K miles; took 2 full days to repair last week. If not under warranty, would have cost $2.7K ($600+ of that amount was parts; the rest was labor).

Voted No at 100,000 miles

I voted no for my 2005 LE Crew Cab 4x4. I passed 100,000 miles last week.

What are your oil change habits? what filter, oil ect?

It seems that this is a very random type problem in terms of who has been effected.
