Exactly what I was thinking. It's one of those new invisible ones with no increase in power and just the noise. Ebay special. LOL.

Looks like my 05 le just got the timing chain sickness too. I dropped it off at the dealer today with 37000 and the agent says "not another timing chain we just finished one". no truck for a week!

Can some of you guys re-explain exactly what this noise sounds like (timing chain)?

I have a lot of what sounds like excessive valve lash on cold starts and between say 1900 and 2500 RPM which with a light load or even just free reving you can heard fairly pronounced sound - i can only describe it as a spark knock type if rattle...

Mines was a really quiet squeky noise mostly on cold starts but it was starting to do it on almost every start. The night before I took it in it did it for a while while driving even at high rpm. Thais when I decided it was time for the dealer to check it out.

Mine was a whine that got louder with rpm increase. It sounded like a supercharger whine.

I voted no because I just had mine in a few days ago and they told me the squeak was from rust on the pulley. It sounds like a belt squeak to me as well so I'm not thinking mine is the tensioner problem.

The word "crusade" is not found in the Bible or commanded and the Crusades ended over 7 centuries ago. Jihad is one of the pillars of Islam and is commanded and still goes on today!
