I bought my bike 2 years ago and I love it. Gas savings paid for the bike in two years (bought it used for $800). I hear the concerns about other drivers and that risk is out there, but for the most part as long as you are safe and alert on it, you'll be just fine.

I love mine so I say, Go for it!!

To buy myself a $3,500 bike and get myself insured, its going to cost me around $250.00 a month + Gas ~ $50.00=~$300

Oh, not to mention...that's the cheapest insurance quote i got. ($180) a month. 60 month pay option is what i chose and its $70.00 a month.

Oooo, I would take that off your hands but I just bought a house. Nice ride!

I have a pimped out 03 R1. Tons of mods. Bought it brand new and fell in love with it.

I've had a few bikes to keep the R1 occupied. Sold all those off. Have a 2007 Raptor 700 quad for off-road play now.

I also still have my first street bike, a 1983 GS650L. Paid $800 for it in 99 with only 8,000 miles on it. It now has close to 20k - I gave it to my father the 2nd year I owned it and picked up an R6 in 02.
