I voted over here for GDOG425 who voted "NO" on the 2nd generation poll by mistake. He had an '02 frontier but don't know the mileage yet. I will add it later when I get it from him.

Legoman reported a "No" vote and he has a 1998 frontier with about 158,000 miles on it.

So far we have 7- 1st generation frontier owners who have run up over 778,000 miles between them going back as far as 1995. Average mileage then is 129, 667 miles between the 7 vehicles reported and NONE reported any timing chain issues. I would like to continue with the poll if we can get more 1st generation owners to vote in this poll. It would make the data more valid. 7 just isn't enough for a statistical trend. Thanks for voting if you have a 1st generation (pre-2005) Frontier.

98 Frontier XE with closing on 160,000 yes. I did buy the truck recently though, but the seller didn't tell me about any major engine work being done like that.
