Well based on your avatar I assume you have never been offroad in your life, in which case you have no idea how much more difficult it is w/ a manual. Yeah maybe I stalled it a few times but that doesn't mean I'm tearing up my transmission; my truck runs just fine.

i would rather stall my truck and half to restart it then to spin a tire and stip the rearend out! mine is a standard and it adds a whole new level to offroading. stallen is a part of the game!

i never heard plow, nismogone, houdini, matt or any of the other std guys grind any gears just let the clutch out a little fast some times, you all gotta do what mike said. 3gs and side step it

you try doing that with stock gears, you'd be stalling more than he was i give jon mad props for wheeling his truck the way he does. is manual trans a hinder off-road? sometimes, but not always... it depends on the situation... jon's an excellent driver, there's no reason to bash anything that anyone did at URE...

I just wanted to say thanks to those who posted all of the pics and vids for those of us who couldn't make it in person. I know there is nothing like being there but the vids make it real for the rest of us.
