Thanks -- yep, I couldn't figure which scale was set up.

I grew up in Chicago and loved it as a kid, but I don't think I could go back to such cold again. BC seems like a beautiful place, despite the cold!

I grew up in Chitown as well. I hated winters there.

Made some handguards out of 18-gauge sheet metal for my bike. Its been fairly cold in the morning so this should help.

Yep, with January and February daily highs never getting above freezing and lows that sometimes made it hurt to breathe.

I recall a week in early May where my Dad reminded me that it was well past time to remove the snowthrower from the tractor and install the mower. You can guess what happened next -- it snowed.

Moscow was much colder. I spent 6 months there from November 85- May 86. Feet got so cold my bones were popping. Very painful. Snowed in feet, not inches.

Holy smokes. A change of seasons is nice, but I couldn't have survived that kind of deep freeze.

Nice! I put handguards on my bike yesterday too. Do you have any pictures of your windscreen mounting? That's exactly what i am going for on my bike.
