Hey guys long time no speak, thought i would give you a bit of an update of what i have been doing and show you a few photos of a recent trip.
Havent done anything to the navara since getting the shorty cruiser (its expensive owning 2 cars!) but have decided to make it into a top tourer since it went flawlessly in a recent trip to kalbarri (about 6hours up north) and margaret river (about 4hours down south). Planning to get a second hand bullbar if i can find one and when the contis wear down a decent set of 33inch all terrains.Have to say the nav went great, was real comfy for the 2500km or so (mainly due to the bilsteins at the back) and went everywhere i pointed it. Here are some pics, enjoy!
And here is how the cruiser is looking now days (and the recent addition to the family- woody)

Thanks for the pics, I'll be doing a bit of beach driving in the next 2 months (practice at Stockton beach before a holiday to Rainbow beach and Fraser island)
Did the conti's go ok on the sand and what pressure were you running your tyres at?
Rosy the contis go great on sand, sand and tarmac is about all they are good at though! Umm hard question the more you drive on sand the more you will get a feel for it. Air down to say 20psi if the sand is relitivly easy looking, or if it looks quite boggy go down to 16psi. If you get stuck air down to 10 and you could probably stay that low it you dont do hard cornering. If you get really stuck air down to say 6 and then reinflate as soon as you are unstuck.
Buzurk thanks, after having a bit of a look around in the aussie section i have to say your truck stood out, it looks great! Might have to get myself some nice rubber and black my rims out

I was running around 18-20 psi at Fraser & Rainbow. Same for Noosa north beach and for Stockton
Never even looked like getting stuck. The conti's are actually great road/sand tyres
