Looks like I'll be able to use my ambient temp sensor with my new rearview mirror. I plan on installing it next Tuesday.

I had to use the sensor that came with the mirror. When I connected the harness to the one I bought earlier, it read 132º. I ended up using the supplied sensor and harness and it works great.

Hi guys, new member - just read the 18 pages and have learnt a fair bit, but a couple of quick questions. If the part is only $14- in the US how is it that Nissan OZ can charge $110+ and does anyone know of a mail order/net based Nissan supplier who can supply the part at a more reasonable price.
Cheers Moorie.

Welcome Moorie
best you jump into the newmembers section and do ya thing
We never did work out if the sensor from the US is the sameas the sensorin the European trucks(yep thats ours)
Courtesy Nissan in the states will happily ship anything we want to us . Shipping can bite somewhat tho

Actually this has raised a good point
did anyone ever check to see if the pathfinder in the US has the same temp sensor?
