New suspension finally

Hi everyone just booked the navara in for a suspension upgrade today.
Finally decided to go with the ironman 2" suspension kit and polyair airbag suspension in the back.
Has anyone else installed a similar setup? have not heard of many installs here in W.A.
Can't wait to see the finished product will post pics when i get a chance.

As I have stated in other posts I have the 2.5" lift with Rancho shocks..............really is so comfortable to drive.............

However, just before the outback trip started with a trip to Northern Victoria to pick up a friend...........with the amount of gear I had the back was sagging..............so I fit poly air bags through ARB...............

ARB Shepparton did not look under the vehicle to see that I had blocks..........not schackles.............so they ordered the hi lift poly air bags and fit these, now they definiteley worked in the outback although I did manage to bend them up due to lack of suspension travel...............

So if you run schackles in the rear then longer poly air bags are what to order.

If you run blocks in the rear then standard height airbags are the ones to get.

I will be fitting poly airbags again before I get the camper installed........stock height numbers.................

The longer travel ones made the back pogo quite a bit to the point I pulled them out.

All the best, Ozroder

How do you find the Rancho's?
I was thinking bout them but then had a rush of blood and went with Rad's instead

Sorry to steel the thread a bit but I am running the 9000 adjustable series and honestly 2 of my friends have taken my 4wd to QLD and off road and both have recently purchased D40`s............because they were so happy with the way the car drove and rode................

I was very surprised how smooth the car is...............2.5" lift with 285/75/16 Mickey Thompson ATZ tires...............

All the best Ozroder

Congrats you won't be disapointed, I have had the kit for 8mths or so and have done plenty of tough trips with and it works well.

The only comment I would make is, amke sure the bags can handle the travel in the rear cause you can get quite a bit...

cheers
scotty
