I cant say too much untill after its done. But, if I dont like it, I'll go for a full tune shortly.

Ok, has been done. - First impressions are the car idles smoother & has more low down torque. - Worth while mod? - Yes, because it was free. - Timiing was set @+15, now @+17. Consult II will only let you add a corrected value of plus 2. - So thats all we can pull out of it timing wise, But I'm guna have a dig around in the soft ware & see what else can be done

so the 2 degree timing actually does what we want from all the differant aftermarket bits we add and gives us better economy and better power.
Ok so does everyone find this?
Not that I dont beleive you but if this is the case why hasnt everyone been inofrmed of this before. i knew it was good in the grunt stakes but better economy too makes all the differance

Standard Unleaded is 91-92 RON
Premium Unleaded is 95-96 RON

Then we head into the Ethanol discussion again and from memory someone else had tried it and wasnt overly impressed.
Like we cant really run Gason our engines as they basically self implode on Gas for some reason.

All my cars run on ethanol blend...

Ethanol burns cleaner & is much better for power production...

My XR6 turbo ute makes 289rwkw with only light mods (injestors & cat) tuned to e10, and 263 on 98 ultimate. - Its done around 30,000kms running only E10... - No problems @ all.

I have ran the Nav on it since new (just colcked over 13,000kms) and havent had one single issue with it.

Any way, this fuel + 2 deg timing is an improvement over stock. - Try it for your selves (get cosy with a Nissan dealer) and if you have a different experience with the mod, just swpa it back. - Literally takes 5 minutes, if that.

I used to use E10 and found that LHK went up by 1-2 litres.

Cheers
