the only time i visit the stealership is for oem parts ie: filters and oils and then off home to service myself as someone i know has a midas franchise stamps the book for me.

i would recommend you guys give someone like ultratune or midas a go as they do the serviceing as per nissan for a fraction of the cost.

Lon I think the V6 was about $680 for the 40 000 and I thought that was bad enough. The 40 000 is a major service, I think they check the tyre pressure as well as changing the oil . The 50 000 was only about $260.

I go to dealer cause its convenient to get warranty stuff fixed at the same time. This time I had 2 recalls done, replaced the horn and got them to look at some bubbling paint (rust about the size of a 20 cent piece) on the roof.

650 I think for the 40K at my dealership
180-210 for all others

My advice? goto a country nissan dealer, damn site cheaper then city (less overheads) and probably do a better job, at least the blokes on the floor are 35+ not 18 y.o. kids
