In my 97 hardbody 4 cyl I switched to mobil1 full syn at 80,000. It developed a head gasket leak and burned a lot of oil at WOT. Super slippery synthetic found its way through my worn engine parts. Switched it back to regular oil and the leak/burning problems went away.

My 2005 had 40k on it and I switched to synthetic and OEM filter on the first change. 20k miles later and I have no complaints or problems!

I switched to Mobli1 about 4k miles ago and I just rechanged it. When I changed it I didn't like how dark the oil came out. I think next time i'm going to try another oil. I haven't had any problems that I've seen since I switched.

And I figured out that the place that use to change it put WAY WAY WAY more than 3 1/2 quarts in there. They put well over 4 quarts.

oh no i meant if he took his truck to a nissan dealer they probably used mobil 1 becuase thats what my dealer uses now, i just switched to amsoil my last oil change and at 3000 miles its a little dirty but its pretty clean, i used to use RP and i like amsoil alot better and so does my engine.
