vg30e Headers?

there is a rumor circulating that VG30E headers could work on a VG33e. Doug Thorley makes some nice ones, but I questioned whether it bolts on the same and some people think it does.

Does anyone know anything about this?

They line up, the studs on the 3.3 are slightly larger diameter, so you'll need to bore out the holes on the headers a little bit.
But they should bolt right up.

If you have an 03/04, they have the cat built into the manifolds, so the piping from the headers will be a bit harder to figure out.

Aside from that, it can be done, and has been done.

4x4parts.com has headers for cheap that should work with mild fabrication and bending up pipes to the y-pipe.
Obviously you'll need to do something about the O2 sensors as well.
For less than $200, it couldn't hurt.
Post up if you go through with it.

From what I can find on other forums, won't work on trucks with automatic transmissions.
