Why would your spark plugs burn oil? their supposed to burn gas. you must be confused unless you put gas in your block and oil in your gas tank!

bosch
is a good plug if your truck is from detriot, but our trucks dont do well on them, like raceline said, go with the NGK's either platinum or iridium

do not put bosch platinum in nissans, yota's, japanese for that matter. my long time buddy/mechanic says its a no-no. use Denso everything.

Any specific reason why? I've used bosch plats in a lot of motorcycles/cars/trucks, japanese, british, american, pretty much you name it. Never had a problem, but I have seen Bosch plugs that cross reference to NGK's but have a slightly different reach (not enough in that case to matter much).

i work on cars and almost every time some one come in w/ a check eng light after a tune-up its got bosch plug in it. its something to do w/the heat range of the plug... pay the extra and put oem plugs in it. you will be happier in the long run.

Are you saying you've identified a causal relationship between the bosch plugs and the check engine light? What trouble code did the computer report?

I've run bosch plugs in lots of vehicles, and never had a check engine light come on because of it. Which is why I ask.
