for example, you have a diameter of let say 30 inches for 70 series, and you will put 75 series, so approxiamtely, you add half an inch or an inch in diameter..

I'm running 265 75 16s on my unmodified XE with no problems at all. This is a stock set of NISMO rims and tires that I bolted in place of my 15 inch steel wheels.

Changing from the 15 inch tires to the 16 inch made about a 2-inch difference in tire diameter. I haven't checked the speedo yet, but I know from the before/after tire diameters that each revolution travels a full 10% further than the stock tire set-up. The speedo read way fast when the truck was new. I'm pretty sure it's a little on the slow side now.

I'm happy to report that there's no noise at all from the tires. That was one of my biggest concerns.

most customers ask if the A/T's are loud and a lot of my customers have them on their S-10's and what not and they are very quiet....for what they are.....you will still hear a faint growl at 80mph or so but it is a very civilized tire...........and thanks for all the input guys

terragrapplers rule

and a 265/75/16 WILL rub

but do a t bar crank, shackle, and alignment and you will have a much more bad *** truck.
