Tires

hey i was looking around discount tires and i was looking at BFG All terrains, i decide the tire but the size is slightly different.......i have 265/70/R16's on my SVE......the BFG AT's are 265/75/R16...........will these rub or cause a huge difference in my speedo(not swimsuit)?????? im a newbie at this stuff cuz i dont know the math of the aspect ratio

na,thats not much of a diff, you should be fine. Im sure you can ask the guy to get the exact tires u want but im sure those are fine.


Put all your truck info in your sig so we know what kinda truck u have. 2wheel,4wheel?

Nah, my speedo still fits just fine

you might have a 5-7% speed increase which your speedo won't show. So basically when showing 65, your at 70mph

hey thanks guys.......i was wanting the AT's cuz i know long trails are good but not aggressive enough.......and i put my info in my sig for ya's but like ive said in other threads its stock

my big worry is rubbing.........cuz im gonna buy em on discount tires online and mount and balance them at work prolly over my lunch break........i just wasnt sure of the diff in a 70 series and a 75 series

your stock tires are 30.7" overall
the tires you want are 31.7" so look at it can you add 1inch but thats only 1/2 on each side od the tire do you have more then a 1/2 now from hitting anything if so you will be fine

fyi nismo shadow i too wanted that size BFG A/T's but i ened up going with Nitto Terra Grapplers (getting them put on this week), they were much cheaper. local place let me have em for 570 OTD... BFG's in that size were almost 800 OTD
