Volant intake sealed to custom Snorkel (in the works)
custom exhaust & HKS catback
Pathy 3.0 headers (in the works)
Performance cams (currently being made)
Fresh rebuilt heads (awaiting the cams to return)
denso iridium plugs
Supercharged 3.3 Thermostat.
Centerforce DF clutch
Quest Alternator
18" procomp electric fan with temp sensor, override switch,
and rewired stock aux fan for dual fans (pusher and puller)

oh yeah,
before the rebuild I was averaging between 12-15mpg with 35" MT/R's city/hwy mix.
After the rebuild I hope its a little more MPG, but definitely more power.

I have a question for the people using the throttle body spacer, are the hp/mpg differences noticeable at all?

oops forgot to add in my gas mileage for the last 2 fill ups was exactly 24.88888 each time... oddly enough... and my fuel gauge is crap. it was basically telling me i had around 1.5 gallons left (between 1/4 and empty) and with no low fuel light, i had just over half a gallon left in the tank. at least im always close to a gas station...

I have a truck. It gets me from A to B. Why I spend so much money changing it, I will never know. Is there a cure for this disease? I have no idea what I would be using all my money for if there was a cure.

I wonder how much the mileage and power would improve if you used the dohc head and vvti from a vq30de 300zx. You can get whole motors, ecu and uncut harness from jdm 300zx/Fairladys dirt cheap.

No need I have a 05 Nismo but for you guys with the vq33e block going to dohc and vvti would be a huge difference, The vq30de has 220hp not supercharged so I'd guess to say you'd see that or better as your block is a 3.3L over the 3. I've thought about getting a 350z hr head and ecu for my 05 but they're still too pricey, 300+ hp non blown does sound good though.

i have heard several of you mention "the airbox mod", but i see most if not all of the posts refer to v6 models. does this work for the 2.4 liter 4 cyl? if so, what is the mod?? if not, what can i do to this poor little motor (on a low budget) to increase HP and/or gas milage?
