Unhappy talilights

anybody know how too remove/replace taillights on 04 fronty?

the manual i have as says to remove two bolts that hold the housing in. my model does not have those two bolts.

any ideas?

Ha, the other day I was checking out the taillights and I was like....hmmm how do unbolt them if you can't get to the bolts.

The bolts are behind the bed liner. If you have the bed extender the brakets are attached to these bolts. They are about an two inches behind the bed liner from the reat. You have to fight the bed liner to get to the two bolts then the taillights will pull out. If you have a friend get him to pull up on the center on the bed liner at the rear and you should be able to get to the bolts.
