Strange Noise -- Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me 18 times...
Well, I'm putting the truck in the shop once more after so many (18 may be a bit of an exaggeration) disappointing times. I took it by the service dept. today to have them listen to a really strange one:
If I have the A/C on, and I have the turn signal on, I get a clicking noise (not the turn signal noise) that appears to be coming from the steering column when I move the steering wheel (not more than 2") in either direction. It happens sometimes with the A/C off, but never with the turn signal off (left or right signal, doesn't matter). I don't know if this is related to a noise I heard many months ago (when the truck was still under factory warranty) fromt the steering column. I took it in then, but they said they couldn't reproduce the problem. That's why I stopped by today, so they could write down that they heard it. It goes in this week; time will tell how "foolish" I am.
BTW, has anyone had this problem?
