Steering Stops

Ok, well I've been wanting to replace my steering stops on my truck since they are now gone. I checked the Nissan place here in Morgantown but they don't have them in stock because they are an unimportant item. Well I had my mom call a dealership in Virginia, and the women who answered the phone didn't even know what a steering stop was...

...so my only option right now is to keep greasing the thing every week. Is there any other fix for this, or am I going to have to go through the hassle of having the local Nissan Dealership ordering me a few?

Just order them. Order a few extras. They are cheap and can be changed in a few minutes.

Double check the part number. It should be 40039-2S610.

are you talking about the nylon on the end of the steering stops? mines been gone for ever. the only thing bad about not having it is it squeaks when you turn and hit bumps. doesnt bother me so i dont bother. you dont necessarily need them.
