Are you not going to pursue it? I was thinking a junk yard engine/trans combo with ecu would be a good approach. Ford connection is interesting too. I would think it'd be worth a talk with any inspection officials you have local as to what your options are.

nissan and ford teamed up to make the mercury villager which is basically a rebadged quest. and as well all may or may not know the quest used a vg30/33. after 2002 ford pulled out.

what he said. nissan orriginally designed the vg30e back in the 80's to bolt up to the borg waren t5 transmission with the ford bolt pattern. personally I think they should have gone with a GM bolt pattern but thats my oppinion. honestly though my mom has decided to help me out and she is buying me a remanufactured vg33e and having it delivered to my work so that i can drop in the new enging quick and easy. im gonna port match the intake and heads and im also gonna make me some headers for it and ceracoat them. I gotta say my mom is a friggin saint. I wuld probably be homeless if it wasnt for her. but any ways I think I did enough research to help people with there future swaps.
