I wheeled a rav4 on some forest roads becasus of the short wheel base it didnt do to bad, but as for making your truck faster, Airbox mod and a good exhuast should help

also, you may want to make sure your spark plugs are clean, install thicker spark plug wires and over inflate your tires a bit.....

slow

Yea these trucks are so slow, not the new ones they are so powerful.
I had an 02 CrewCab Long Bed non S/C and have the largest siz didnt help at all even with intake still very slow( but the intake is only good for around 5.45hp). I would recommend intake and exhaust maybe the blower if your that interested.

the speed doesn't really bother me that much. i'm actually more interested in making it more fuel efficient....as if that's even possible with my driving "style" i'm managing to get around 18 mpg in the city.
