Seat troubles

I discovered that my pasenger seat wont shift foward/backward anymore. It still tilts and is all the way back. It has putting anything behind the seats very hard. If anyone knows whats wrong, I would love to get this fixed.

so you lift the bar and it won't slide? If it got stuck all the way back or forward it possibly slipped off the track and jammed, though it could just be gummed up. If it were my truck I'd spend some time looking around down there and compare to your driver seat. If you come up with nothing, unbolt the seat, it's only 4 bolts. Once it's out you should be able to figure out the problem fairly easy. if it is gummed up, spray some wd40 on the track and slide it back and forth a few times, leave it out and put it back in the next day.

when i bought my 00 i had this same problem. i pulled the seat out and took it in side and found a quarter stuck in the tracks holding it up from sliding!!! take the seat out and clean the tracks up. make sure nothing is in there.

and turn it over, pull the lever that lets it slide you will see how it works and how it locks in to place there is little prongs that fit int eh groves. make sure when you pull the lever up the prongs are comming all the way up to let the seat slide.

but im betting you have something jamming it like my quarter.

thats why u spend 5 min unbolting 4 bolts and you run inside with your seat like i did lol.

acutally it better not taking even 5 min, 1 min and 15 second per bolt is a long time lol.
