I just searched Alpines supercharger on the web. The kits claims to add upwards of 70hp to the NA motor.

Holly Bible Batman!

Great find Steve. Though now I'm perplexed even more. It was said up to 70hp but for the pathfinder & Xterra. Pretty sure the Xterra has our same engine, have no clue if the Pathfinder does as well. However its rather interesting that an aftermarket SC made by the same manufacture as the OEM one installed on the SC models is being boasted as up to 70HP gains... I'll have to read more on that thread to see if any further explanation is given.

Hell for 70 more ponies, I'd give it more serious thought...

70 ponies still only puts us up at 240..that's a lot better than 170 but still meh. We need another 60 horses to make it to 300..

I really wander if the more hp out of the aftermarket sc is from the computer.

Also for 03-04s it would get us to 250hp.

and put that together with intake mods and a header-back setup and you should be pulling somewhere in the 270+ range, which would be outstanding given the weight of our truck!

Oh Damn Steve, I really wish you wouldn't have posted that as you're getting me thinking, and that usually translates to less $$ in the bank account...

I wonder if the aftermarket SC still requires premium fuel the way the OEM SC models do??

I think 300hp is possible. If the sc puts out 50-70 stock at 5psi, just think if you went with a smaller pulley and pushed 10psi of boost. Then just add headers, cam, intake, exhaust.

Well I've never considered the Frontiers a racing truck by any stretch of the imagination, but with these figures, heh...
