I'm not sure how the Gen 1's are but I know there are no options for the Gen 2 that don't require drilling. I just did a yakima install (you can check my prev. posts for pics) that required drilling 8 holes. It wasn't really a big deal but I do understand your plight regarding drilling holes in your roof.

You can get the Yakima Qtowers in either a pair or a set of four. If you just want a light bar , go with a pair of them and one bar. If you are going for a full rack, they recomend getting a extention kitbecause you need wider bar spacing then the door jams provide. Go here and it will walk you through step by step Yakima Racks, Bike Racks, Roof Racks for Skis, Cargo & Kayaks - Yakima any questions feel free to ask.. PS: I can get you everything you need for cost.....

I have a basket that I will sell you.. I bought it intending to install tracks on my truck and never did it.. new in box..Loadwarrior let me know

also if your going to buy locks, save yourself the trouble down the road and buy a 8 pack.. that way you will have 8 locks with the same key. You can also buy a set of locking mounts for the basket...@ about $25

BTW... I have a set of Q-towers and bars here too if interested.. all used for about 2 days ( nothing was even mounted on the rack)..(wife trying to look cool... ).. you would need a farring, extention for the basket, Q stretch kit, and Q clips...

run the power under the cab and up the back between the cab and bed...
