Ready to lift!
Ok here is the deal. I have a 2003 xe king cab 2wd (Yes I know your all thinking why do I want it lifted) I like the look of a lifted truck and it's beter than lowering it!. I hardly know anything about trucks. I was wondering What I need to get it lifted. I want to go about 3 to 4 inches total. What is the cheapest way and how do I go about doing it? I've read other post but I am so lost when it comes to what people are actually talking about sometimes (automotively speaking of course).

you can get a good 2-3 inches from a torsion bar adjustment, which controls how high your front end sits just by twisting a bolt on either side. you could get lift blocks for the back but that will cause your rear leafs to sag over time. However the more you adjust the torsion bars, the rougher the ride will be (generally)

It gets me from A to B. Why I spend so much money changing it, I will never know. Is there a cure for this disease? I have no idea what I would be using all my money for if there was a cure. ![]() |

The cheapest way is to buy some shackles and crank on the T-bars. There is nothing wrong in lifting a 2wd truck. You would be amazed in how capable these truck really are
