Reaching spark plug on 2002 V6

I have a 2002 XE-V6. It has about 100k miles on it, so I was going to change the spark plugs. Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to get to the plug all the way in the back against the firewall? I can't get my hand in past the brake lines to get the wire boot off.

it also helps that your wngine is cool so you don't get burned if you ever need to "lie down" on top of your engine....

Thanks for the feedback. The swivel adapter for the ratchet was key. It still wasn't easy, but I got it done.

it's gonna be a female dog to get, some people take off the hood so they can reach it better, I nearly did that, that last spark plug took longer than the other 5 combined.

5 isn't as bad as 6, i don't remember 5 real well, but I don't see why it won't go over the plug, maybe you have dirt or something in there. If you have an air compressor try cleaning it out. I know I had a good bit of dirt on my plugs.

so you can't get the socket to turn the sparkplug? Can you get the socket over the sparkplug? I'm not real sure what the problem is, is figured something was in there that was blocking the socket from going over the plug.
