Rancho steering damper on a '03

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has installed the rancho steering damper on a 1st gen. Kinda scratching my head as to where it would mount up and whatnot.

Are you looking at the kit or 4x4 parts or just the shock? If you're looking at the kit, there is a mount that clamps to the steering centerlink and a mount that bolts to the frame. There are no mounts on the truck already as they didn't come with a steering stabilizer stock. You can buy just a shock, sure but you'll have to figure out a way to mount it. Best to just go with the kit, everything is figured out already.

only buy the rancho kit for a steering stab. 4X4 ac offers a bilstein one, but it is not a true ratio of 50.50, i called and asked bilstein about the shock and they told me specifically its for a land rover and the ratio is closer to 55.45 causing it on any other vehicle to make it seam like your alignment if off... and pulling the truck one way... when i got mine at the time it was cheapest to get it from amazon
