I have to ask though, how did you mount your amp? You just screw it in?
I cut small circles out where the holes needed to be and used things made by Yakima for custom roof racks called plus nutsthen anchored into them

I see tons of Black, silver and yellow frontiers around here.. Every once in a while I see white, red or a Blue one.. Never Green... I really like it but I have some good scratches and I am having trouble finding paint fix for it..

yeah and i hear that chrome plating stuff is a biotch to peel off, yeah you have a point about protecting it from rocks and other road debris that could cuase chips and scratches.

It is all kindof temporary as of now.. The jump seat behind the sub is coming out and my friend is in the process of roughting up a glass enclosure that will be molded into the corner. The larger amp will get painted and built into the box. The sub will fire diagonal into the cab. The Alpine amp will be under the drivers seat and the jack will stay in place. All wires are JL braided. I ran a JL 9-wire for the Alpine which is set up BI-Amped w/out cossovers. Front channels go to the tweets and back go to the mids. The cap will stay where it is because the ground is actually welded to the frame.

I dont know about the crome plating on the lower part of the truck either.. Came that way and I am yet to see it on another fronty...I like it though.. Protects from some scratches..
Your truck looks cool dude. I think that body style with the bulging out headlights looks nicer than my gen 2. The chrome plating is an aftermarket kit that sticks on with 3m tape. I think it might even be stainless steel. Looks good too.
