Optima Battery's?
Ok, so i killed my stock battery yesterday pulling a guy out of some mud, i got him out, but i had to wait 5 mins, for every 15ish seconds of pull for my battery to recarge.
Its time to upgrade. I have the Ramsy 8000# winch, 2 KC's right now, planning on adding a roof rack with 4 more KC's up there. My questions are.... Red top Yellow top or Blue Top Part Numbers?? Where to order?? Thanks Guys

I think the red is the normal one of the groupm they yellow is the deep cycle and the blue is the marine one. other then that i know they have a few diff sizes and their website sucks to try and use (at least the last time i was on there it did)

you may want to look into a high output alternator as well. 4x4parts.com has quite a few for the 1st gens.

Wheres the best place to get a yellow top, and does anybody have the part number for the one that fits our truck?

just for a winch and acoupla lights i would just go with the red top thats all i have and a 180 amp alternator and it handls the load very well!

Well, i can get the yellow top for $148.92, so its actually cheaper for me to get the yellow. the red would be $168.
