heres general piaa lamps

http://piaa.com/Lamps/Lamps-General.html

these are mine. like piaa says, best selling lamp.
http://piaa.com/Lamps/Lamp-pages/520.html

heres my kit
http://www.shopatron.com/product/pro...=PIA5261/353.0

yes its a kit, yes its exspensive. but the wiring is all done for you. its all plug and play basically. except for wiring the switch. and its very heavy duty. and piaa's customer service is worth the price alone. ive never had better customer service from any company in my life. they know they are the best, and they will do everything they can to keep it.

when my relay went out, i emailed them and asked them what part number i needed, explained i bought teh truck used with them on it, and they said in our book your a paying customer, they sent me the new relay for free along with wiring diagrams for installation. very nice people. how many companys send you parts for free for a product you didnt buy?

oh and tomorrow afternoon ill post some pics for you. mine arnt on my truck right now since i got my new truck. so ill explain and show you how nice they really are. they are worth every penny. i plan one buying 2 more sets in the near future.

its a breeze i doubt u need help, but if u do im here. im still at work no clue when ill get home, but i will get you those pics so you can see how well they are made. they are worth every penny. and if u look at the blue frontier in the banner up top, its running piaa's as well.

okay as promised...

first off all the wiring is covered in this rubber to protect it from, well just about anything.

also on the end if you notice is the connector. your lights have the other end of that and they just plug in.

everything runs to this relay. its basically the center of the whole system.

you have 3 main wires comming from the relay, this is practically the only wiring you have to do. your relay is mounted under the hood so its going to be close to the bat. you run the big white wire with the fuse to the positive side of the bat. and then ground the black negitive wire. the red wire is your accessorie power. which will be the middle prong on your rocket switch. (if you do a standard 3 prong rocker switch)

then your lights will look like this but yours will have the connector wired on to the end of the wires. (the douche bag that took my lights off when i rolled my truck didnt know piaa had its only wiring system and they were connected, he thought they were just wired positive to negitive on a switch i guess, freaking idiot lol.)

so you just have to connect the two connectors from the wiring harness to your lamps. hook one wire to the positive side of the term. and then ground the black on on either a good metal ground of the truck or just the negitive part of the bat. since its right there.

then run the one red wire to the inside of the cab. run it to the middle prong on your switch. run a constant power source (like from the bat) to the positive prong on the switch. and then run a ground to the neg of the switch. mount the switch and bingo. your night just got turned into day!!

its very easy, like i said if you need any help just ask, ill be here as long as others will. and i can take pics of pretty much anything you need. hell i might even put my set back on my new truck at the same time just for the hell of it. i need to anyway.
