My '04 XE rattles when in Drive

About a month ago we bought a white 2004 XE Crewcab. I love the truck and everything about it is fine...except when it's in drive and I'm on the brake, like at a stop sign etc.

Then the truck rattles enough to cause waves in my waterbottle. I went to Advanced Autoparts and they suggested putting a bottle of High Performance Lucas Transmission Fix, as they suggested that it was the torque converter and that if this didn't fix it, I might need it to have it replaced.

Have any of you had this same problem?

Sorry, I'm a newb.

Not really when I hit the brakes, more like when I'm at a complete stop, but in drive, and I can hear it kinda loud in mine. It didn't help that the first night I got to drive it Bambi charged me on Hw. 123

Question sorry, not much help

my 04 s/c Lb has a slight issue with the prop shaft causing a vibration but that is when the truck is moving. my windows tend to be "lose" and if down 1/2 inch they rattle against the guides, and i just found out that i had a lazy caliper on the driver side which killed a set of pads and was pulling my truck to left...

where does it vibrate? any specific area? could it just be a loose panel/or wheel well? fender flares?

if it is used you might want to check the history of it to make sure it wasn't in an accident. i have seen, although avoided and not purchased, cars that dealers have repaired and tried to sell.

check for matching colors on front wheel wells to mae sure not front end damage happened. i opened trunk to one car and it had different paint schemes. that tipped me off that something was not exactly right.

think, we all need a little more specific info to help you out. where is rattle/vibration? in front, under seats, can feel at steeringwheel?, may be on a ss end?

Towards the glove compartment (which is improperly named). pretty much the whole dash area. It was in an accident in Aug of 04, or 05, and then earlier this year when the deer t-boned me (see my introduction in New Members);however, the truck was vibrating before the deer hit me, so maybe it's from the first accident.
