Lower end bearings

Has anyone here ever changed the crankshaft and rod bearings on a v6 frontier 2000 CC while the engine was still in the vehicle? How hard was it?

It's not that bad. I never did the crank bearings but i have done rod bearings. WHy do you want to do this. I don't know that you can change the crank bearings in the truck, you will probably scratch the crank.

My engine has a rap in the lower end. I do not know for sure if it is a rod or crankshaft bearing. I have done this on a Toyota 22RE with no problem.
I just wanted to know if anyone had done this on a vg33.
Thanks
